As an SEO Manager, you’ll…

  • SEO Strategy: Conduct keyword research to brainstorm and pitch creative and compelling article topics, continuously analyze our clients' competitors to uncover fresh SEO opportunities, and propose SEO strategies aligned with our clients’ business goals. Also, in this position you'll have to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure SEO strategies complement overall marketing efforts, conduct website audits and constantly monitor and analyze SERP performance to refine strategies.

Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and other on-page elements for targeted keywords. Conduct on-page SEO audits and implement recommendations for improvement. Optimize internal linking structure to improve site architecture and enhance user experience. Implement schema markup to enhance search engine understanding of website content. Monitor site speed and performance, implementing optimizations as needed.
  • SEO Analytics. Track and report on key SEO KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profile, and use data insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and keyword performance. Generate regular reports on SEO performance and insights for stakeholders.
  • Client Management: Communicate actively and assertively with clients on a weekly basis, to provide updates on initiatives, project KPIs, and suggest and discuss new SEO strategies.
  • Project Management: Keep your work organized to meet deadlines, while pushing back when necessary, and work closely with cross-functional teams, such as content, development, design and product, to ensure optimal content performance.
  • Keep learning! Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to inform strategy adjustments.

Aside from the responsibilities outlined above, we'll help you identify your interests and development opportunities and integrate them into your role.

About you

You’ll be a great fit for this position, if you…

  • 2+ year of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar SEO-focused role
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs and/or SEMrush

  • Located in a flexible time zone adaptable to Latin America and North America (No more than a 3-hour difference from Mexico City)
  • Enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest SEO and technology trends, and if you're a quick learner. Our team enjoys working with people who embrace new challenges!

Nice-to-haves

If you but have more to offer, here are some additional skills we're looking for at Meaningful…

  • Experience working in startups, tech companies or agency environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4, Google Lighthouse, Figma, Clearscope
  • Experience in SEO Copywriting
  • Basic/Intermediate knowledge of technical SEO

What's it like to work at Meaningful?

We've built a small but diverse team that has worked with startups and recognized companies in Latin America, the United States, and Europe. To achieve this, we've focused on maintaining a healthy, collaborative work culture that prioritizes our team above all else.

Here are the benefits of being part of our meaningful team:

  • 100% remote. We've optimized our processes so that all team members can comfortably work remotely. Additionally, our teams in Mexico and Argentina have the option of coworking spaces for when they prefer to work in person
  • Competitive salary in USD
  • Flexible hours and laid-back Fridays. At Meaningful, we don't believe in restrictive schedules; instead, we focus on objectives and initiatives. You can set your own hours as you prefer, as long as you're available for client calls (usually one per client per week). We're also flexible with vacation days, holidays, and personal time
  • Conversational English classes. You can take advantage of weekly one-hour English classes with a dedicated instructor exclusively for the Meaningful team
  • Diversity. We're all from different nationalities, ages, professions, and interests
  • Office Hours with External Mentors. We've established partnerships with top professionals in various fields. Currently, we offer office hours for the entire team in UX copywriting, SEO, Analytics, and UX/UI design
  • Access to courses. Continuous learning is one of our core values, which is why we provide courses in various areas for our entire team

What does a typical week look like for our SEO Managers?

Still curious about working at Meaningful? Here's a peek into our daily routine.

  • Mondays. We review the status of our projects, define weekly tasks, organize ClickUp, and hold SEO (and Analytics) office hours if necessary
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These are typically adrenaline-filled days as they involve our weekly calls with clients. During these days, we stay closely connected with the design and development teams to drive initiatives forward and meet weekly milestones
  • Fridays. Client calls are rare, so it's more relaxed. These days usually consist of all-hands meetings, connect & chill sessions (an hour for chatting and laughing), English classes, 1:1 meetings, and organizing tasks for the following week
